~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Ultra Rare SIGNED 45 by David Clayton Thomas & The Fabulous Shays entitled "Barby Lee" b/w "Lucy" on ATCA Records 6904, original Canadian Pressing from 1964.
An incredibly rare Canadian Garage 45 from this total killer garage band out of Toronto that also released other killer garage 45's entitled "Boom Boom", "Take Me Back" and "Brainwashed".
Known for his phenominal stage act gigs (as a bouncer) as David Clayton Thomas & The Shays, this group previously known as "The Fabulous Shays" recorded 2 very early 45's on this very small private Atca Label.
The other Atca label release was "Boom Boom" b/w " Hog For You" that was also distributed privately through Terca Records.
This gem is extremely rare and very few copies ever surface.
This amazing group captures the true hard core raw garage sound with echoed haunting organ screaming vocals and wild fuzz electric guitar chords.
Both labels are truly exceptionally super clean.
The vinyl shows excellent high gloss luster and virtually looks almost mint except for 2 or 3 original cardboard paper sleeve line impressions.
