David Crosby ?– If I Could Only Remember My Name - Audiophile 4 x 45RPM from 200

	£ 25
	$		33

Here is a rare copy of this special edition from Classic Records in the USA - the album spread over four single-sided 45-RPM 200-gram records. It's exactly this, on Discogs - more details in their info - www.discogs.com/David-Crosby-If-I-Could-Only-Remember-My-Name/release/3770899. I bought this secondhand, from someone who was selling-up his collection - the ultimate audiophile edition of one of my favourite albums.

Cover - all in very good condition, is in its Classic Records poly sleeve, shown in second picture.

Records - Side one looks excellent, likewise side three. On side two track one, there's a seriously nasty little patch of scratches. On track two, there's the lightest kind of fingernail mark across it. On side four, there's a light scuff at the end of track 2 into track 3. There are a bunch of very short scratches in the lead-in grooves, just going into the first few music grooves. There's a stain along the edge of the record taking in the start of the playing grooves. I also noticed 2 light fingernail type marks at start of track 1. It's very hard to find a trouble-free second-hand copy of this quiet, laid-back album. I've been play-testing this record. Despite no visible problems, side 3 has some crackling at the start, and several clicks later on. Side one has some crackles on track one, but track two (Cowboy Movie, my favourite track) is excellent, with Neil Young playing lead guitar. So, stretches of this play with no background noise or other problems, and a wonderful detail and depth of sound, but it's not perfect.

Perfect copies of this sell for £200 or so.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

Postage at cost within UK - £2.95. Happy to do combined postage wherever practical.

I'm happy to send this overseas, see below for details, if bidding from outside UK. You need to know this stuff.

Dispatch will usually be "next day".

Collection in person is welcome.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)

Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands

International postage plus applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in the following non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Russia and USA, and wherever else import duty is appropriate - e.g. Norway.

I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.
