In regard to international sales I would ask buyers to consider the peace of mind offered by signature / insured services.  If items go missing or are damaged I can only pursue compensation which matches the level of postage paid for.  For example standard UK compensation is £20.00. I do not profit personally if you opt for an insured option.  Please let me know if you would like insurance at the time of payment.

I would ask buyers to contact me to resolve a problem rather than leave any neutral or negative feedback.  In particular Low Detailed Seller ratings can really hurt eBay sellers.  

One thing many buyers understandably are unhappy about are postage charges: in April 2013 UK Royal Mail introduced a lot of price increases and now their competitors are following suit.  My postage and packing costs fairly reflect the current pricing structure.  I always try and pack well whilst keep shipping costs as low as possible.
