Title: The King BIscuit Flower Hour #673 Transcription Disc.(2LP)
Cat no: KB.673
Record condition: The vinyl is in EX condition looks-wise but the play is not perfect in places on disc one, especially early doors in Chrissy Hynde's set. Disc 2 looks unplayed so I have not touched it.
Sleeve condition: The sleeve is a generic card sleeve but it does have not one, but two, DJ cue sheets showing broadcats date as 04/02/1987 and full information on running order etc including addresses and phone numbers of DIR Broadcasting Corp staff.
Label condition: VG+ / Ex / Ex / Ex
Notes: A very rare double transcrition disc for the King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio show. It features David Gilmore, Pete Townshend and Chrissy Hynde performing at the Royal Albert Hall in 1987, as well as the usual adverts and cheesy chat!
Tracks inclue Run Like Hell, Out of the Blue, and Comfortably Numb.
As this is for radio broadcast, the segments that share sides do not run into each other. The DJ has to manually cue some segments.
Please bear in mind, sometimes there are only one or two and sometimes a few of these discs out there, but I have not yet found a way to tell how many exist. If you have any ideas, I would love to know. What I do know, is that this was never available to the general public until now.
I have never seen one of these before. This is another highly collectable and very rare piece of Floyd and Who history. As is the case with these gems, I will start this incredible piece of history at 99p and let you enjoy the ride!
