Description

Listing a few Pink Floyd and related gems along with all the heavy Beatles records this week. First up is this magnificent release from 2006 by David Gilmour, On An Island. Please note this is the FIRST VINYL PRESSING not the reissue that’s readily available around the web. Featuring an oversized, gatefold cover (manufactured in Holland) and being constructed of very thick, heavy weight stock, the images are realized keeping in a Pink Floyd style mode and looking fantastic. The condition of this monster gatefold is NM with the only flaw being a ding to the lower right (please observe the provided photos for your condition concerns). Nice job done in Holland making a common yet beautiful gatefold cover very uncommon. The original heavy stock inner sleeve (record has been stored in a vinyl friendly mofi inner sleeve for added protection) and included poster also are in perfect condition. About the actual vinyl, it’s perfect. I played this record one time only as I’m listing it to make sure it’s sound and I can tell you I almost pulled it back off eBay to keep but that’s not allowed. It’s mint. The original “hype” sticker is also here and the original, resealable shrink too. Very nice packaging that does this mesmerizing piece of sound art justice.
