For sale is this UK original vinyl album by Davy Graham. Entitled The Guitar Player, it contains 12 tracks (see pictures for track listing) and was his debut LP. It is housed in a front-laminated flipback sleeve. On the Golden Guinea label, the catalogue number is GGL.0224 and the date of issue is 1963.
Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good Minus condition, mainly due to some marks on the first two tracks on Side 1 (see pics). However, these look worse than they sound and play through without issue. The vinyl is VG+ apart from this.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest of spindle marks.
The front-laminated flipback cover is in Very Good Minus condition with a bit of edge and corner wear, some laminate creasing and minor laminate cracking at the bottom edge, and a bit of writing on the back (see pics). The spine is complete with clear printing but a bit of wear at the ends.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
