Description
This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. This time the last 25+ Excello records as well as several from End, Robin, Atco and some great bonus listings as always.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Donnie Elbert - The Stroll / Wild Child
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Original white label Promo first pressing. This is the first single by Elbert who became one of the more prolific artists of the era. Classic vintage sound with Elberts unique falsetto vocals. Nice guitar backing. The b-side Wild Child is the star here.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some scuffing and discoloration. I believe it's from liquid exposure at some point. I'm bumping it down to a VG for the label wear. See pics, but this is a great player copy.
Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve is pretty nice overall. There are some wrinkles and a pencil number in the corner. No splits or tears.
Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well. Due to vacation plans, I'm swapping out my Jazz auction to run in late Feb. I keep finding cool stuff and haven't gotten it all sorted out. A 60's rock auction after that with a bunch of picture sleeves.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
