Description

Up for sale is an original first pressing of Frankenchrist by Dead Kennedys — one of the most controversial, politically charged, and essential hardcore punk albums ever released.

Originally released in 1985 on Alternative Tentacles, Frankenchrist pushed boundaries musically and culturally, becoming infamous for an included H.R. Giger artwork poster that led to a major obscenity trial against the band. A true landmark release in punk history. This auction does NOT contain the poster, but other inserts are present, see photos.

This album captures the razor-sharp satire, furious energy, and fearless political commentary that made Dead Kennedys one of the most important punk bands of all time.

An iconic and increasingly collectible first pressing from one of punk rock’s most influential bands. A must-have for serious hardcore and alternative collectors.
