Description
Original UK black Cherry Red label stereo 1st press LP.
This iconic album was first released on September 2, 1980 through Cherry Red Records in the UK and later issued by Jello Biafra's own Alternative Tentacles label in the US. The band and the LP ran into problems from the start, with the recycled picture on the rear cover of Seventies lounge band 'Sounds Of Sunshine', causing a lawsuit, hence the soon censored cover. This is the early 1981 issue with the censored band picture on the rear cover, the orange printed credits for the also banned 'Too Drunk To F*ck' single issued in May 1981, the fold out poster, Cherry Red inner and the A-2 B-2 matrices with the run out groove text "Who Are The Brain Police??" and "Is life as boring as you are? Maybe?" of the censored later first pressings.
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.
All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & non EU countries, including Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zones 1 & 2, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and even the USA,
but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
