This is an Auction for the Dead Kennedys Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables 1st Pressing Orange Cover on Cherry Records/IRS Records SP 70014. This record is rare to say the least and still has the poster and a bunch of promo stuff, including a Subterranean Records catolog sheet, a piece of paper with the DK symbol and "WE MAY TAKE AWHILE BUY WE DO COME THROUGH . . ." typed below it, a sheet of paper with a barcode with the words "WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES/This is your number. We now have license to haunt you." typed out and the hand written number 4000054, The Rock Against Reagan fan letter dated 1984 and promo for Let Them Eat Jellybeans and "URGH" A Music War. I'm not sure if this was a promo pack, included with the record or something the former owner just collected.
Conditiion: I'm not a big fan of the grading system because too often it is based on opinion and one man's VG+ is anothers man's G. I also tend to grade things low but have found through past experience that regardless of how conservative I am, there is always someone out there that thinks it isn't conservative enough. The fact is that in the 20+ years that I have collected records and often bought new, no record is Mint and without a doubt nothing is Mint++. 

• Sleeve: EX  bought this record used in Iowa City about 20 years ago. Other than record ring wear on the top and some light corner wear this sleeve is in good condition.
• Record: NM Looking at the record I do not notice any scratches but it does need a cleaning.

Conditiion:  I'm not a big fan of the whole letter grading but I will state that the condition is good. I The record looks to be in good condition and is playable. I've collecting records since the mid 80s mostly Southern California punk before 1985. Also I promoted shows during the 1990s and 2000s. At this point, most of these records haven't been played in over 10 years and I could uses the money. About 2 years ago, I sold off my CD collection and just recently decided that I need to stop hoarding these. Plus I would love to see these in the hands of another collector to enjoy instead of packed away. I plan on slowly selling off the collection over the next few months.
