Greetings, up for bid is an original, rare US first pressing of the Dead Kennedy's 1985 album Frankenchrist, complete with the controversial H. R. Giger poster.  Released on Alternate Tentacles (Virus 45), the record itself plays very well, with minimal surface noise and overall a very clean VG to VG+ rating.  The jacket is fine overall and is in VG condition, as is the inner record sleeve.  The poster is overall good, and extremely rare.  Please see the photos and item description for more detailed information  This record contains the original runouts (Side A, etched): A VIRUS 45 A? "The Full Rich Flavor of Stark Reality" L-22265 and (Side B, etched): A VIRUS 45 B? "To cope is to cop out" L-22265-X.  Additionally, this version's identifiers also include:
* dark chocolate red AT label (vs repress versions' bright burgundy).  * "45" on AT label in a small font. * rounded upper corners on inner sleeve.  * No "Made in Canada" on inner sleeve.
