The opening track on this record is called ‘Destroyer of Planets’ and well, if it isn’t a mission statement for this incredible and simply amazing LP from Deadly Avenger I am not sure what is.
It’s a ferocious LP of speaker destroying electronica as (un)comfortable in your earphones as it is on the dance floor think Justice & the Ed Banger label as much as John Carpenter or NIN. It’s brutalist and precise and so much fun, you’ll believe you can laugh as you trample buildings that stand in your way.
It not all stomping beats though, he manages to squeeze is some amazing woozy mellow tracks to help you patch yourself up and catch your breath before the battle begins again.
