Description

Dear Jeff - excellent private xian folk rock

Gentle, quiet, soft sell xian folk album that is so fluffy as to have that psych feeling we're all looking for. Some female backing vocals, some electric guitars. Nice. I couldn't find any info on it online but it should be entered into the history books as a minor but notable record of the genre. Back cover features a reproduction of a letter from Jeff's starry-eyed girlfriend -- did he get her permission for this? Looks to be circa 1972. Cover strong VG with no splits; slight but persistent wear / disk VG+/NM.

And as a special bonus I'm throwing in the self-titled LP by The Challengers. The record doesn't quite live up to the cover but it's still pretty cool. Private issue from Vincennes, Indiana, circa 1971, VG/VG.
