6 of the 8 180g remastered Lps or Ep’s from the RARE and out of print Barsuk Years box set. Discs only++
NO box, outer sleeves or any packaging included. Several discs are mislabeled.
Contains:
-Stability EP(mislabeled as The Photo Album) disc has mild edge warp that doens’t seem to affect play
-You Can Play These Song w Three Chords (mislabeled as Stability EP) has mild edge warp that has a bit of effect on the sound on the edges.
-Forbidden Love EP (mislabeled as We Have The Facts)
-The Photo Album (mislabeled as Forbidden Love EP)
Transatlaticism (both LPs correctly labeled)
**The set is missing two discs that were released with the original box: “We Have The Facts” and “Something About Airplanes”.**
Three of the discs included (You Can Play These Songs w Three Chords, Forbidden Love EP and The Stability EP) were exclusive to this set and have otherwise never been released on vinyl. Here is a chance to add them to your collection for a fraction of the cost of the full box set. Don’t miss out!
All discs are like new and lightly played only to i.d. what is on each. The mild warp on “You Can Play These Songs” and “The Stability EP” seems to be a common issue across the board with this box. You can look up the history of issues with it on Reddit This set notoriously got botched by Barsuk but the remasterings are gorgeous and are so worth having. I ended up with this almost complete set minus the packaging in a trade but feel like these belong in a proper Death Cab collection somewhere. These misprints will likely be valuable in 20 years.
