Description
Debussy La Mer Nocturnes Giulini, Philharmonia Orchestra SAX 2463 Blue and Silver.
I've known these performances for a long time from the CD, and I have to say it was a revelation to hear them on this blue and silver original issue. The sound is beautifully clean and present and it confirmed even more how highly I rate Giulini's recording.
The LP is in EX+ condidtion. Clean shiny vinyl with barely a mark on it. There is minimal surface noise, and only the very occasional pop and tick, perhaps one or two more on side two than side one. The cover is in EX condition. The front is clean and has one small crease on the right hand side edge, and a negligible amount of fraying on the bottom right hand corner. The back has a few minor age marks on the bottom right hand corner
This LP comes from a large collection that a former music professor has asked me to sell on his behalf. There are some real gems there which I will put up for auction as and when I have time. Please look at the other items I have for sale, and do contact me if you have any questions.
