Decca SWL 8021 Tchaikovsky VIOLIN CONCERTO Ricci WB ED1 10" stereo LSO Sargent
Original UK stereo pressing 10-inch from 1962 on Decca (SWL 8021).First press wideband grooved dark blue/silver labels with 'Original Recording by…' at ten o'clock.
Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D major, Op.35
Ruggiero Ricci with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent.
Comes in original front-laminated flipback picture sleeve.
Vinyl on side 1 in excellent condition. Side 2 in very good+ condition due to a small mild 1cm scuff at the very end of the piece, although this has virtually no effect on play other a handful of very faint ticks which are hardly noticeable, and the rest of the side plays fine.
Sleeve in excellent- condition with a very small tear to the very right hand edge of the top flipover strip on rear. Otherwise looks fine with just mild general shelf wear. No writing, sticker marks or spine splits.
