GRADING

RECORD: Play grade ON MY Hi-End  system (Thorens 521/Sme, Ortofon SPU gold, McIntosch C 22, McIntosh MC 2000/50th anniversary, and Magneplanar 3.5)

FULL  PLAY  CHECK

Side 1: plays Near Mint Minus to Near Mint (play with some background noise that do not seriously affect sound.)

Side 2: graded EX minus because a tiny mark (0,5 cm) cause some repeated tic and toc at the end of track 3 and at the start of the track 4) the rest of the record plays Near Mint

Record is graded with the combination SME/ORTOFON SPU GOLD cartridge. This combination is very sensitive to marks and background noise.

Unless you buy a vinyl record that  is SEALED there will always be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling. If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in classical records, which have quiet passages. You are buying vinyl LPs because they sound better than CDs, however SURFACE NOISE comes with an LP.

Visual grade:

Side 1:  EX MINUS (some scuffs and some lights tiny marks)

Side 2: EX Minus (some scuffs and lights marks and 1tiny mark that affect sound )

COVER: EX (some laminated cover loose see pic)

SPINE, TOP AND BOTTOM SEAM INTACT
