Description:
Vinyls have a very nice sheen, when viewed under strong light there are some superficial marks which cannot be detected in normal lighting conditions, bar Side 4 which has some sleeve scuffing marks - these scuffs cause a very light bit of occasional static - a sample of side 4 has been attached below. There is the occasional bit of audible static and faint click or pop in places on other sides, and I would grade the overall playback as EX- in line with the visual grading. The labels are nice and clean with minimal spindle mark traces and are in EX+ condition. Original Decca FFSS inners in EX+ condition. Outer sleeve has some defects; laminate peel & bubble, small tears, these flaws can be seen in the images below. The inner booklet is all intact. Overall, a nice first edition set, superb playback quality with the occasional minor audible flaw, but nothing to detract from the overall listening experience. Please be aware that these records will only be shipped signed for with additional postal insurance. The cost of insurance does not appear on the ebay tab, so please factor this in when bidding.

If you purchase multiple items, please request an invoice before making payment as I will need to send you an invoice with postal discounts applied.
I am happy to stockpile records should you wish to purchase a number of items over a certain period of time so as to minimise shipping costs. Please see estimated combined postage costs below.
I accept Paypal, cheque and Postal Order as payment.
Sound file:Grading will be based on the following:
Mint Record is new - I will not grade any record as Mint condition unless it is a new, un-played item.
NM Record has probably been played, but has been well looked after, sleeve appears new
EX Record shows signs of being played, sleeve has slight wear
VG Record has minor surface marks/light scratches, sleeve shows signs of normal wear & tear
Good Record has mild scratches/surface marks, cover has creases/folds, scuffing, spine split etc.
+/- will be added to indicate that the record falls somewhere in between the broader grades above
I will not sell any record falling below a grading of good.
The price quoted on the eBay tab is for first class postage via UK Royal Mail and includes the cost of specifically designed record mailers. All postage costs are based on the weight of the record(s) & packaging quoted in the listing. I offer postal discount on multiple purchases and the following should be used as a guideline for calculating the overall cost of shipping.
UK + 0.50 GBP for each additional 12" record UK + 0.30 GBP for each additional 7" record
Europe + 1.25 GBP for each additional 12" record Europe + 0.30 GBP for each additional 7" record
ROTW + 2.50 GBP for each additional 12" record ROTW + 0.56 GBP for each additional 7" record
Please note the above are approximations based on previous mailings. The final postage cost may be slightly more or less dependent upon the overall weight of the items. In exceptional circumstances i.e. when a record has high value I may request a signed for delivery which will incur a surcharge. N.b. I do not make money from overcharging on shipping costs - the stated price is the cost of the UK Royal Mail service + the cost of record mailers & stiffener.
Please email for shipping costs outside of the UK for packages in excess of 2Kg.
I aim to describe each record's condition as accurately as possible. All record grading will be done via visual inspection and any imperfections will be given in detail and audio tested. I guarantee to accept returned items if you are not happy with the gradings I have given. Occasionally, some imperfections may get overlooked and if for any reason there is a problem with any of the records you have purchased, or items have gone astray in the postal system, please contact me and I will try to rectify the issue as quickly as possible. Please do not leave feedback until the matter has been resolved.
