1959 UK stereo pressing on Decca records of SXL 2132 Berganza Sings Rossini - Teresa Berganza with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander Gilson. Label is grooved wide band. The label has “Original Recording by” at 10 O’clock. Sleeve is a scalloped flip back sleeve. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are ZAL-4407-1E and ZAL-4408-1E. The date code on the back cover in the bottom left hand corner is 4-59-1516.
Grading
The condition of sleeve is Excellent, very slight wear on opening. Inner sleeve is excellent. Visually grade the record as Excellent
Side 1 - one small scratch that show up under strong light
Side 2 - few faint marks and light scratches that show up under strong light
There are some faint spider marks around the spindle hole on both sides.
It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips, jumps - a few pops on track one side one and some crackle in places.
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
