Description
Decca SXL3142 ED1 - 1959 Music of Berlioz The Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Jean Martinon
- I'm unsure of the value of this LP with the pressing defects, so if you are interested, please contact me or make an offer.
- The record condition is very good.
- Small signs of wear to jacket
- Both sides have been played and the sound is excellent except for the two pressing defects both on side two radially from the middle N in London
- Track 1 after about 1 min 20 secs and lasting about 20 secs
- Track 2 after bout 5 mins 15 secs and lasting about 12 secs
- In both cases, the defect is noticeable as a low rumble below the music.
- Also notice that the name of the conductor is absent to the rear of the jacket
- The large D next to SXL 2134 presumably notes the defects
- Please ask for more information or photos if you need more detail
