Description
RUGGIERO RICCI plays Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major Opus 35 and Dvorak´s Violin Concerto in A Minor Opus 53. Sir Malcolm Sargent conducts London Symphony Orchestra. Decca SXL 2279 Wideband, grooved 1ED "original recording by". Published 1961.
Please note that there has just been a similar item up for auction (item nr 2599418742). This sold for $ 387! My reserve is considerably lower.
I have been very carefully listening to the LP, and there is absolutely no wear to the groove. There is however one audible scratch on side one and a few tics along that is probably cleanable. I wouldn´t consider the scratch serious but that is a matter of taste and how much you have paid for the LP. Sound is generally excellent and I fully understand why this album is so highly esteemed. The tone and pitch of the violin is absolutely fantastic. Condition of item:
LP: VG+ (to be on the safe side) .
Cover and innnersleeve: EXC cover some marks from stickers on back but I have cleaned the front after picture was taken. Innersleeve is white non original.
Matrix: ZAL 5090 1E (please note!)
I try to grade the records I sell carefully but to prevent misunderstandings concerning my grading I give you a list:
Mint - only new LP'sNear Mint - top quality for an opened LP, bright, clean, no scuffs or scratches. NM
Excellent - near perfect, minor signs of use but no audible sctratches. EXC
Very Good - some visible surface wear, absolutely playable and most important no wear to the groove. VG (divided in to plus and minus)
Anything below that normallyI don't care to sell. Basically these records was bought for my own use, so I was particularly careful to choose records that had no audible wear in the groove. Actually I find that muchmore annoying than scratches. I hope that clarifies a bit.

With these heavy old LPs I simply cant keep a secure package below 0.5 kilo where the price divides, I am sorry. So shipping worldwide is for one kilo (app 3 LP) $18. Two kilos cost $28 (+ $ 7 optional insurance as recommended mail). Above 2 kilos the price will vary according to final weight and destination. I will not charge for more than actual weight. This means that if you buy several LP´s you will get free shipping for app 2 LP´s more. European buyers will off course be reduced in shipping depending on country. As a rule buyer pays actual shipping cost.
