Decca stereo SXL 2145 wb+g Ed.1 – KIRSTEN FLAGSTAD – SONGS FROM NORWAY
1959 Decca stereo recording on wide-band grooved label Ed.1, catalogue number SXL 2145. Kirsten Flagstad singing songs by Grieg, Eggen, Alnaes & Lie with Oivin Fjeldstad conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.
Disc is clean and shiny overall. Side 1 has 6 very light random ticks. Side 2 has several visible marks: Track 1 has 3 noticeable ticks; Track 5 has 2 loud ticks near the end. Throughout the rest of the side there are about 25 very light ticks, some barely audible and nothing intrusive. Sleeve is creased at edges/corners and has record impress.
