All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Very close to NM in appearance but as it is light coloured I will be cautious as VG+. No significant scratches or marks are visible under a bright light save some whisper lines from sleeve removal. I think forgivable after 40 years of life. Labels are in great condition with no damage or pen marks, just the expected spindle marks under a bright light.
Record Audio - VG+ Only very minor surface noise in between tracks and on quiet moments, of which there are very few. Great deep rich sound, especially impressive for live recordings. Smoke On The Water is just amazing sounding, probably even better than the album version. Great piece.
Record Sleeve - VG The material of the sleeve is quite low quality and as such ring wear is quite visible on the front cover. Spines and edges have a little shelf wear but are intact and the titles are legible apart from a manufacturing fault where they go over the fold of the sleeve. Record is stored in a plain white sleeve which is in good condition.
