Deep Purple Fireball LP GENUINE UK 1st Press SUPER AUDIO [Ex+/Ex-] TEXTURED

Description

An original and genuine 1st press of FIREBALL on UK Harvest. Matrix 2/3 - correct for 1st. Etching "PEK". Please note if you want to insist on an early 1st - take a look at the labels. The earliest copies went out with an apostrophe missing on 'Anyone's Daughter' - like this example. Well worth going for the earliest copies - they are that bit nearer those pristine masters and were pressed super chunky. Note the labels mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text [correct for 1st issue]. Again, if you want earliest 1st then you need to look for fully textured covers - inside and out [like this example]. We also have the original lyric insert and the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. You can insist on the ABSOLUTE best copy available on this title - so it is a no brainer really. Possibly the height of Purple power - these guys were at the top of their game. Don't compromise on the audio - expect and GET the best possible rendition humanly possible. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one small deviation. An absolute belter! Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I tend to find tracks like 'FOOL' are the benchmark for a good copy. Average copies will fall over on this track due to its trippy quiet passages. A proper top level copy, like this one, will even ace those super fussy moments without exhibiting background. All I could detect was one solitary tick during Daughter. That's it - the rest was just blindingly good - consistently. Just keeping turning the amp and this baby will De-liver! FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) It's really painful trying to find this title with a full textured cover still managing to look smart. Invariably they often seem to surface with a lot of wear. Thankfully, this example has been cared for and seems to have avoided most of the usual problems. Take a look at the shots. Yes, there is very slight evidence of trace wear - but anything visible is pretty insignificant. Just compare the pics to a lot of the other copies on-line...MOST will not be looking this tidy. Slight sticker removal mark top left on front [has been inked in carefully]. The interior is pretty much immaculate - you don't see many examples this tidy. Very minor edge wear for this title and sharp openings. Worth noting too that the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies very flat. Many examples have a tendency to contort - this one is very nice and flat. Text on spine is pretty much all legible with a bit of wear just starting to interfere. This close to a minor miracle on this title - it is usually knackered!
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
Insert (Ex-) Doesn't seen to have aged. Just a couple of minor blemishes.
