Description

An original 1st press of Fireball on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/3 - 1st cut. Etching - 'Pecko'. Stampers 2-OM/2-TP. Note the labels still exhibit 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in a fully textured cover [inside and out]. There's also the original Harvest advertising inner sleeve BUT NO lyric insert.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In superb condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just a couple of lightest deviations. A beautiful player. Lovely and quiet in the intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. There's precious little to take issue with. Even the quiet uber fussy quiet moments in 'Fools' play really nice and clean. All I could make out was a couple of isolated ticks per side. A high standard of playback throughout. Nice!
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition without the heavy surface wear often found. Bit of light evidence front and back - but pretty good all round really. A little bit of wave/ripple in the cover [not that bad though]. The interior looks great - no issues really. There's a bit of edge wear in places, but nothing epic. The spine exhibits a bit of wear so don't expect text on the spine to be legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A bit aged in places. But the bag is still in place. And no splits.
