Description

A 1st pressing of Fireball on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A2/B3. Etching 'PEK'. Stampers 1-RH/1-RO. This is the very first iteration of this release with George Peckham's 'PEK' evident in the deadwax. Also, please note that the very 1st of 1st pressings have a slightly different track layout on side 1 - and track 4 shows as ANYONES DAUGHTER [missing the apostrophe]. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully textured gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original thick paper lyric sheet and original Harvest advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly seen the lightest use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity and minimal interference. The audio delivered from this Peckham cut is absolutely awesome - if you want to fully appreciate this release in its purest unadulterated form ..then this it. Interference is very minor just a touch of light static in one or two of the quieter moments [literally], but even this is very minor. Overall this is an outstanding player and would be nigh on impossible to better.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Back and front are very well preserved with just some ring wear on the rear. The interior is in nice condition too. Edge wear is light with just a bit more on the spine [text still just readable]. Overall the cover still retains much of its original rigidity.
Lyric sheet (Ex+) Absolutely superb. Pretty much like new - which is very very unusual. No fading at all and no creases either.
Inner sleeve (Ex) Outstanding condition. No splits.
