DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple LP- In Rock .1st UK pressing with No EMI on labels, A2/B1 matrix and in front and back laminated gatefold sleeve. With Harvest advertising inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 777 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a decent sheen. Played passages of this today at a decent volume on my Pro-ject Deck. Sounds very near Excellent. Has a light trace of background sound in "Child In Time". Cover is firm and square and has only a little more than light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Inside of gatefold clean. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. The poly lining has detached from the Harvest inner which has only light wear and no splits. I nearly upgraded my own copy with this. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES (INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT INNERS) PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
