Deep Purple - Machine Head

1st Press 1972 EMI Records 12" LP EX/VG

Original laminated gatefold sleeve with date code of 7204.

Does not have the fold out poster with the song lyrics though....

Primary identifiers for this pressing

1) No EMI credit on label, outer rim of label for first pressings has 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' at 11 O'clock.

2) 'Made In Great Britain' on label

Label differs from Machine Head

in having Made In Great Britain at 6 O'Clock

(As Oppose to Germany)

Also lacks EMI credit at 12 O'Clock


Condition;

Record looks to be in around Excellent Condition.  High gloss record. Barely any light marks or scratches when viewed under a 500w bulb.

Picture Sleeve is in around Very Good Condition. Wrinkles in the laminate on spine, some wear at the corners (see pictures). Still has the original price sticker "Norfolk House £2.00". Top edge of the back part of the gatefold has become unglued - easy to glue back down.
