Deep Purple – Machine Head. 12 inch vinyl LP album with poster. 1st UK pressing. Purple Records 1972. Catalogue number TPSA 7504. SUPERB!

 

VINYL: EX+/M-.

In beautiful condition. Has been stored unplayed for decades. No marks or blemishes. Still retains its original sheen. Perfectly flat. Test play revealed no skips, sticks or clicks. Deep full clean sound. It has clearly been played only a handful of times. Sound quality throughout is free from any traces of distortion.

 

1st pressing matrix / runouts:

Runout, side A, stamped: TPSA 7504 A - 1U

Runout, side B, stamped: TPSA 7504 B - 1U

 

LABELS: M-

First pressing label identifiers: Made In Great Britain at 6 o’clock; no EMI credit at 12 o’clock.

 

Perfectly clean with no writing or stickers. A couple of very light spindle marks – only visible if you look at the labels up to a very strong light. In normal light they look PERFECTLY NEW.

 

SLEEVE: EX+/M-

Original pressing laminated gatefold sleeve with date code of 7204. No marks. Perfectly secure flipbacks. Beautiful!

 

INNER SLEEVE: EX+

Original plain poly-lined inner sleeve. No tears, creases or marks.

 

POSTER: M-

Fold out poster with the song lyrics to the album printed on it (with the catalogue number located top right of the poster). No marks, creases, fading or browning.

 

Great album, one of the first copies of it ever produced, really hard to find in such fantastic condition, and extremely collectable!
