Description

Artist/Band : Deep Purple

Title : Shades of Deep Purple

Format : 33 rpm vinyl Lp record

Country of manufacture : England

Label : Parlophone

Condition, Cover : EX-, Vinyl : VG+, Labels : EX, Sleeve : EX+.

Description : This is Deep Purple's first Lp from 1968, it's a first pressing mono release on the black and yellow Parlophone label with the 'sold in UK...' text !!!

This massively rare and very sought after Lp rarely shows up in acceptable condition. The laminated flipback cover is in excellent condition, it shows a few signs of age such as a bit of wear at corner tips and a few negligible creases. There are no tears, splits, writings, stickers or anything visually disturbing (see pics). The spine is strong and perfectly legible.

The record plays very well and sounds GREAT throughout in spite of some visible marks from age and playing. The vinyl is thick and deep grooved, it looks as VG+ and sounds as EX !!!

The labels are clean, no writings or stickers.

The original EMI sleeve with the 'take care of your records..' and Emitex texts is intact, just a bit of yellowing from age.
