Description

An original 1st press of Stormbringer from 1974 on the UK Purple label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Etching "Kendun". The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original generic white inner sleeve with patent info. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in the opening seconds of 'Love Don't Mean A Thing'..minor and over very quickly. Nice!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice clean front with no signs of discolouration or handling wear. The rear looks good too with just lightest handling. Edge wear is reasonably light and the openings are still sharpish. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. A one inch bottom edge split.
