Deep Purple, The Book Of Taliesyn, Orig UK Harvest LP, VG+, A-1 B-1 Matrix, 1st Press!!!
Original Harvest/EMI stereo issue LP, the laminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition, with some light rubbing around the corners and some very light ring wear on the rear cover (see pics). The spine is intact and fully readable. The plain inner is intact and in excellent (see pics). The record is in visually very good+ condition with some evidence of being played, including a few feint hairlines from being removed from its sleeve & a couple of light needle marks visible under bright light. The labels are clean and bright with evidence of a few spindle markings, overall the record still retains its original sheen and looks good.
The sound reproduction is still very good, clear & vibrant throughout, with no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise on the run ins and some occassional light background noise in some of the quieter passages. The matrix nos. are SHVL-751, A-1G mother stampers 2-GD, B-1G mother stampers 1-GA, with the Gramophone Co rim text on the labels, this is the one of the earliest pressings of the first UK stereo issue of the album!!
