Description

Deep Purple,In Rock,LP, Catalogue Number: (SHVL 777), Cover Details: Front laminated gatefold sleeve with a Company inner sleeve.

Cover Condition: excellent condition with only slight usage wear as you would expect from normal play, acceptable to most collectors.

Record Condition: Has some light surface marks which should not affect play, these are mostly made from removing the record from the sleeve so should play through fine with no playback defects(no actual scratches or jumps/skips/sticks etc) and is acceptable to most collectors.

Any Other Details: Original first pressing on the green Harvest Label with no EMI Box. Has "The Gramophone Co" text on the label rim. Matrix numbers A2 & B1. The sleeve is the first issue with "File Under Popular: Pop Groups" and "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd" text inside the gatefold. There is a 0.5cm piece of laminate missing from the bottom of the spine and two tiny white areas on the black. There is no other laminate missing. There is a small crease to the bottom right corner. The record has been listened to and the first track on side 1 has a mark which produces crackles throughout the first quiet place in the song. There are a few pops in other quiet areas. Side 2 plays excellently with some light background noise between tracks and a few pops in quiet places. There are no jumps or sticks. Complete with EMI company inner sleeve which is a bit grubby but has no tears, patent no 1,125,555
