The record perhaps as most of you know has it's own Wikipedia page.

The story behind this particular one is that in early 1979 I was a croupier in Derby and I used to go home to Sheffield on a 125 MZ bought from Mick Flynn motocycles on Middlewood Road.

Anyway I was back at my parents house in Sheff on a night off and heard (I'm not sure which one was played but I think it was Ride into the Sun) them on John Peel.

It made an impression and although I wasn't a big record buyer I stopped off at Revolution Records which was on the upstairs balcony of the Sheaf market ? to buy a copy. On asking if they'd got it a chap who was sat on the counter said "I'm glad someone heard it". He fished one out and I handed over my £1. Shortly after I was on my way down to Derby to give it a spin. I wasn't disappointed.

Several months later I'd moved to the smoke to work in a Mayfair club and when Leppard played their first gig in the capital (I think at the Rock Garden ?) I was in the audience.

For the last 25 years or so it hasn't been played and it needs a home where it will be taken care of.
