Description
Original press (Mercury 422-830-675-1). Front of jacket is autographed by all five members of the band (Steve Clark, Joe Elliot, Phil Collen, Rick Savage, Rick Allen). Jacket is near mint (you won’t find a nicer copy unless it is sealed). Inner sleeve shows a few creases, but is free of splits). The record is VG overall, however side two has a significant scratch on the last two songs. The scratch looks way worse than it is. It causes no skips and just creates a very quiet pop on the last two tracks. I was AMAZED that the play was not more affected.
Backstory - While on the Hysteria Tour 1987, the band was interviewed on 107.7 fm WRKR in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As part of a promotion for the concert that night in Battle Creek, Michigan (Nov 87), the band signed a few records that were given away on-air during the interview. This is one of those records. Steve Clark died three years later, which makes this item extra special for fans.
Again, the cover is in fantastic shape. The record has an issue on side two that looks worse than it is.
