Description

An original 1st press of HYSTERIA in the UK from 1987. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Masterdisk'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with "Animal" hype sticker. We also have the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition with the original lustre in places [hardly any use]. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. A super pressing - super preserved. If you want the definitive cut of this LP <<<THIS would be the one to go for. Plays nigh on perfect throughout. Easy to grade in reality. Clean signalled with barely a whiff of background. One isolated tick early in 'Women'. And a few crackles right at the start of that dreamy sequence that side 2 starts with. Other than that 100% Superb!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Unbelievably well preserved - you don't see many original copies looking this fine. Lovely colour retention with literally zero surface wear. In fact, the surfaces are smooth to the touch - this cover has never been anywhere near the damp. Hardly any edge wear at all and sharp openings - highly unusual. 4 pointy corners. The spine is 100% perfect without compression. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Ex-) In excellent condition. A couple of small blemishes one side. No splits.
