Description
Del Amitri – “Charlie’s Bar” Christmas fan club flexi-disc
-
Original fully signed band postcard
Rare late-1980s fan club release.
This set consists of:
• 7" clear flexi-disc of Charlie’s Bar
• Original printed backing card with band photo
• Separate postcard signed by all four members
Why this matters
This flexi marks the first release by the third Del Amitri line-up — the short-lived but crucial “bridge” formation featuring Mick Slaven (guitar) and Paul Tyagi (drums).
This was the transitional period between:
• The early indie incarnation
• The later “Waking Hours” era that brought international success
By the time Waking Hours was released, this line-up had already dissolved.
This makes the flexi an unusual historical moment:
a document of the band just before the move toward the polished rock image that followed.
The photography reflects that in-between stage — pre-sideburns, pre-major-label aesthetic shift.
Condition (fully disclosed)

Light age-related discolouration. Not cleaned or altered. Visually good with expected light wear for a flexi of this age.

Blu-tack marks to reverse and minor wear from being displayed. Signatures remain clear and strong.
Nothing hidden. Nothing polished up. Sold honestly.
