Description
Denes Kovacs Bach Sonatas and Partitas Hungaroton SLPX12033/35
Excellent copy of Denis Kovacs 1981 recording of Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for unaccompanied violin. The LPs are in EX++ condition. They have been visually inspected and I have played selected movements on each side (I don't have time to listen to the complete set). There is virtually no surface noise, and negligible pops/ticks. The sound is clear and clean. The box is in EX++ condition apart from a stain and mark made by a removed sticker on the upper right hand side. Having heard many recordings by Denis Kovacs I would say he is a vastly underrated player, and from what I have listened to, this set is worth discovering.
This set comes from a large collection I am selling from time to time on behalf of a friend, a former music professor who collected vinyl extensively. Please look at the other items I'm selling and keep an eye out for more gems to come.
For shipping to Europe and Asia, I will confirm exact postage costs before sending an invoice.
