You are bidding on a vinyl 12" copy of Pacific Ocean Blue by Beach Boy Dennis Wilson.
Gate fold with plain white inner sleeve
Caribou Records CRB 32438
The record is in very good condition with no visible marks or scratches and plays like a dream.
The gate fold shows some signs of age along the spine with the odd scuff mark but is in generally good condition.
On the back is a gold embossed stamp that reads:
"PROPERTY OF CBS DEMONSTRATION ONLY".
Which marks the record out as a promo copy making this rare record even rarer.

Pacific Ocean Blue hit #96 in the U.S. during a 12 week chart stay. It never charted in the UK.
Pacific Ocean Blue is Dennis Wilson only solo album, released in 1977. After several attempts, starting in 1970, to release his own project, some of which made it to the finished album, Wilson recorded the bulk of Pacific Ocean Blue in the months spanning the fall of 1976 to the following spring.
Wilson became the first member of The Beach Boys to undertake a solo project. Released in August 1977, Pacific Ocean Blue received glowing reviews for its depth and emotion and performed encouragingly in the U.S. charts. It is also notable that Dennis' hard living had begun affecting his looks and more importantly his singing, delivering grainy, yet still soulful vocals. Despite Wilson's pledge to record an even superior follow-up, entitled Bamboo, his continuing decline into substance abuse and personal problems ensured that the album remained unfinished at the time of Wilson's death in December 1983. Thus, this album, alongside his pioneering work with The Beach Boys, remains a focal point of Dennis Wilson's legacy. Due to current disagreements over copyright ownership, the album is still awaiting fresh remastering and re-release.
