An excellent little live set from Deodato – hard to believe because the sound's just as slick and funky as his studio albums, and possibly even more interesting because he manages to pull it off equally well in a live setting! The record features percussion by Airto, guitar by John Tropea, and vocals by Flora Purim – and all tracks are long and complicated. The funkiest number is "Tropea", which has a nice long 8 minute groove – and the set also features a cover of Steely Dan's "Do It Again", plus the tracks "Parana" and "Branches".   © 1996-2016, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Mint (M): A brand new record that has certainly never been played or is still factory sealed. Cover or box has no obvious defects;

Near Mint (NM): The highest grade for a used record. Almost no signs of being played, perhaps a spindle mark or barely noticeable light mark where record has been removed from the inner sleeve. Cover or box may have minor ring wear but no bends, creases or writing whatsoever;

Excellent (EX): Record has only a few light (non-sounding) marks and has been well preserved. There is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover or box has slightly more wear than NM;

VG: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover or box may have a pronounced ring wear, seam splits, writing, discoloration and general wear or tear (Details are indicated in the description)
