Over the next few weeks, I'll be selling off some rarities from the collection of Tom Lax (me, founder, Siltbreeze Records, sorry for the 3rd person silliness) & I'm starting with some big ones.
Departmentstore Santas-At The Medieval Castle Nineteen 100 year Lifetimes Since, self released by the band on Top In Shelf, 1985. Original pressing. One of the most ponderous & enigmatic lp's to see the light of day in the 80's for sure. An excellent lp, brimming with wry & idiosyncratic lyrics, nice psyche moves, beguiling instrumentation, it has it all. Was virtually impossible to find almost upon release, got the reissue treatment a while back, but this is the real deal. I've included as many pictures as I thought were needed, but please feel free to ask for more or any other info. I also kept the the outer sticker from the shrink, which I put up as well. Jacket has some wear; light creasing & wrinkles, remnant of price sticker on front, corners bumped. Insert is intact, vinyl plays great. Truly an amazing album & one of my all time faves. I will conclude by saying after this auction ends, the winner will be contacted w/accurate shipping/freight costs. Inside the US I'm not so worried, but anyone overseas, we're gonna talk INSURANCE. This WILL NOT be sent overseas without proper tracking. That's it, best of luck.
