Description
Depeche Mode – Black Celebration
Original UK-era Mute Records vinyl LP, catalogue STUMM 26, issued in 1986.
This is the distinctive UK plain matte sleeve variation with glossy central cover photograph. The runouts have the unusual MPO pressing mark crossed out on both sides, together with the characteristic etched messages found on early UK copies.

Side A: STUMM 26 A2 – A CLASSIC CASE OF OVER FOCUSING – MPO crossed out
Side B: STUMM 26 B3 – SO MUCH FOR THE MINIMAL ALBUM – MPO crossed out
This corresponds to the recognised UK variation supplied in the plain matte/glossy-photo sleeve without the printed lyric inner sleeve.

A particularly nice collector's variation of one of Depeche Mode's landmark albums, with the unusual crossed-out MPO matrices clearly distinguishing it from the more commonly encountered UK pressings.
Vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition, retaining a strong glossy appearance with some light hairlines and sleeve/contact marks. No obvious deep scratches. Labels are clean and present well.
Sleeve is Very Good Plus overall, with general edge and corner wear, light rubbing and handling marks, particularly to the rear and along the lower edges. The front artwork remains strong and attractive. No writing or stickers.
The plain sleeve configuration without a printed lyric inner is correct for this particular UK pressing variation.
