Please zoom in on the provided photos to see the overall condition of this item.(Wikipedia Excerpts) English electronic music band Depeche Mode formed March 1980 in Basildon, Essex, and were named after a popular French fashion magazine. They released their debut record "Speak & Spell," in 1981, bringing them into the British new-wave scene, followed by the release of "A Broken Frame."
1983's groundbreaking "Construction Time Again," and 1984's "Some Great Reward," gained the band extensive popularity in the US. The subsequent releases of 1986's "Black Celebration," and 1987's "Music for the Masses," established them as a dominant force on the mainstream electronic music scene. A highlight of this era was the band's concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl, titled "101," where they drew a crowd in excess of 60,000 people.
Depeche Mode have sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the most commercially successful electronic bands and one of the world's best-selling music artists.
The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.
Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.
