THIS is an original, official poster measuring approximately 17" x 12" (42x30cm) that was printed for Mute in 1986 to promote Stripped, the first and biggest single from Depeche Mode's classic Black Celebration album.

I've been selling original promo posters on eBay for two years with 100% satisfaction.

Feedback received from a U.S. buyer, March 2016

This is one of 13 original DEPECHE MODE promotional display items in this month's listings, along with many more original 1980s/1990s promo posters for Mute Records and other independent labels.

CONDITION: This one is difficult to fit into my usual grading so I'll describe it in detail instead.

You have to look VERY carefully at the photo (with zoom) to see any flaws but this UNUSED poster has acquired minor imperfections in storage.

Just below the first ‘E’ and in the middle of 'C' of the band name are small areas where the white surface of the paper has been pulled away when another poster was stuck to it (and carefully steamed apart). As this is an area of white print it’s barely visible. There are also a couple of small white 'scratches' on the black border near the top left corner.

What most people will see is bright, unfaded colour, four beautifully pointed corners, all edging sharp, and no signs of use or display like tears, creases, pin holes, sellotape, or blue tack

A bargain priced 32 year old vintage Depeche poster!

PLEASE carefully examine the photograph using the zoom function. The photo forms part of the item description, particularly with regard to its condition.

PROVENANCE: All my posters were sourced from record shops or direct from record labels & record distributors in the 1980s & 1990s. They were each from a one-off print run for the record label and were never on sale to the public.

The photograph is of the actual item. All the items I list will be on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos.

I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.

PACKAGING: Your poster will be lightly rolled then wrapped in a sheet of brown paper with twists at both ends for easy and safe removal from the professionally made-for-purpose mailing tube.

POSTAGE:

The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and a minimum of 13.5% of the p&p charge taken by eBay & Paypal (yes, they really do that!).

If your postage & packing fee doesn’t cover the cost of the postal service appropriate to the value of this item I will pay for a FREE UPGRADE so that your order is always fully insured.

Orders up to £20: Royal Mail Second Class or Hermes Courier (UK) or Royal Mail International Standard (rest of the world). Proof of posting will be retained.

UK orders over £20 and up to £50: Royal Mail Second Class Signed For (fully insured).

MORE ORIGINAL INDIE PROMO POSTERS! Over the coming weeks and months I'll be listing many more ranging from well known bands like The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Pixies & Erasure to obscure acts. Expect plenty from the likes of 4AD, Rough Trade & Mute as well as items from smaller labels. There will also be a few postcards and possibly some other promotional items. I'm sorry that I won't be able to answer specific queries about other things that will be offered in the future (due to disorganized storage!) but please see my other items and add me as a favourite seller so that you'll see new finds as they are listed.
