Description
Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs is the one and only studio album by the English-American rock band. It was released on Atco Records as a double album in November 1970. It is best known for its title track “Layla”, which is often regarded as Eric Clapton’s finest musical achievement. The album peaked at #16 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA. Thigh initially panned by critics it is ranked on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums All-Time list. The album is simply incredible with standout tracks including “I Looked Away”, “Keep On Growing”, “Bell Bottom Blues”,
“Tell The Truth” and the plaintive “Thorn Tree In The Garden”. Nice double gatefold original from ‘70 here.
