Mega-rare Detroit northern soul 45 by The Professionals on GROOVE CITY 101 - That's Why I Love You b/w Did My Baby Call. Guaranteed 100% original pressing. Hand-etched deadwax reads 'SI-C10045-A   SOUND INC   344' on the A-side and 'SI-10045-B   SOUND INC    344' on the B-side. This is the black vinyl version. Labels do show some wear as seen in the pictures with the A-side having more than the B-side. Unfortunately, like most copies of this record that have turned up, significant scratches and scuffs are noted on both sides. The record play grades VG to VG- on the A-side. There is some background noise audible, but once the music picks up, it greatly overpowers the background noise. The B-side play grades VG- with some skipping noted when a heavier tonearm is used. This is not a problem when a lighter tonearm is used. There is also a slight dishwarp from storage noted that does not affect play. I have included an unaltered soundclip from the actual record being offered here. This is still a pretty decent playing copy as you will hear! Any other questions, please ask. Grading Scale:

NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.

VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.

VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.

G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.

Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
