Dexter Gordon  Blows Hot and Cool  (Dooto/Dootone Records DL-207/AUL-207) Deep groove 50's pressing, with yellow and blue labels.  Smoky, late night vibes emanating from these here grooves will surely put you in a spell.  This is one stone-cold classic late 50's quintet date from the incomparable Dexter Gordon, joined here by my favorite pianist, Carl Perkins.  There are but a few rare original pressings of this record in red vinyl, with this one coming a year or so later, but with improved fidelity.  Don't sleep on this one.
Cover notes: Famously evocative cover of a hazy, and possibly high, Dexter Gordon surrounded in smoke.  It really doesn't get any better than this for artwork.  This beautiful laminated heavy board cover is clean with tight seams all around, some edge wear, but no splitting.  Rare multi-color back cover.

G  (Good): The record will have heavy wear, with very apparent surface and background noise.  A plus or minus may be given, if notable.

Shipping: All records will be shipped in a sturdy, reinforced cardboard box mailer, with record and cover protected in plastic sleeve.  Standard shipping will be via USPS media mail, at cost of $4.00.  Priority mail also available, at cost of $10.00. Save on combined shipping when additional records are purchased.   For additional records, $1.00 will be added to initial shipping cost.
