Description

Your chance to buy an excellent clean copy of Dexys "Don't Stand Me Down", now regarded as the best of their albums.  This is a "Made in Greece" pressing on the Mercury label (822989, released 1985).  It is in great condition with hardly any surface marks and no pops or crackle.  There is silence between the tracks.

It has the following matrix numbers:

Side 1: MER 822989A MT410 2156

Side 2: MER 822989B MT410 2156

VINYL: The vinyl looks great and has retained its original high sheen. Visual inspection under bright light shows only minimal hairline marks.  It has obviously been well cared for and seems hardly played. There are no audible pops or crackles, and there is silence between songs.  I have no hesitation in grading the vinyl as Excellent (Ex).

LABELS: The labels are near perfect with no spindle marks, damage, writing or stickers.

SLEEVE: The sleeve is in very good condition with some minor ring-wear and slight shelf wear marks.  Its shiny surface means that it remains solid.  Overall the cover is in Very Good (VG+) condition. 

INNER SLEEVE: The record is in a polythene inner.  The original insert (pictured) with pictures and details of the band, and all the words is in excellent condition.

POSTAGE & PACKING

The record will be carefully packaged to ensure that it survives the journey.  In this case the vinyl will be packaged separate to the sleeve.  Everything will be sealed in an inner plastic cover and protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners. It will be posted requiring signature on delivery.

Postage to Europe will cost £9.95.  Elsewhere in the world will cost £13.45.
