Detailed Condition Report
• Vinyl (Excellent / EX): The vinyl is in superb condition, retaining a deep, mirror-like gloss. Under strong light, there are almost no visible surface marks or hairlines. The labels are pristine with sharp text and minimal spindle wear.
• Sleeve (Very Good Plus / VG+): The original glossy outer sleeve is structurally strong. The spine is fully intact and legible. There is only very light storage wear to the edges and corners, consistent with its age.
• Inner Sleeve (Excellent / EX): Includes the original card lyric inner sleeve. This is often missing or split; this copy is remarkably well-preserved with no side splits or heavy creasing.
Why Buy This Record?
• Mastering: The ARUN A-1U / B-1U matrix is the "gold standard." It captures the raw, brassy energy of the original master tapes with an urgency later reissues lose.
• Complete Package: Features the original card inner sleeve and the early "Late Night Feelings" label credit—essential for a complete first-press collection.
• Iconic Status: Voted one of the "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die," featuring the legendary cover photo of Anthony O'Shaughnessy.
• Investment Grade: First UK pressings of 80s masterpieces in this condition are consistently rising in value.
