I'm selling off some of my records to make room, and this is a highlight of the collection: a very nice copy of Diamanda Galás's The Divine Punishment, which is the first installment in a trilogy focusing on the AIDS epidemic, The Masque of the Red Death. I am also selling a copy of the second record in the trilogy, Saint of the Pit. 
If you're looking to buy this in the first place, I'm sure you know that this is an extremely scary record. I don't really listen to this sort of thing anymore because I take antidepressants now, but it is pretty impressive. Check out "Sono L'Anticristo". Wowee. Only Galás can be this terrifying across this wide a range of pitches, timbres, and languages. The album was produced by Gareth Jones, who also worked with such Mute Records heavies as Depeche Mode, Erasure, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Einstürzende Neubauten, and Wire. This is the US pressing of the album, as indicated by the "marketed by restless records" note on the outer sleeve.
Everything here is in better condition than I remembered. The surface of the record is gorgeously glossy, like some kind of, uh, goth scrying mirror. Also, check out how great the Mute logo looks on the center label. I forgot about that as well. The outer sleeve has a tiny bit of wear along the edges, and one of the corners is ever-so-slightly dinged, but it's in great shape overall. Same goes for the inner sleeve. I will include the Mobile Fidelity archival anti-static sleeve you see in the photos. If you haven't put your finer records in these things before, I bet you'll want to.
